GEH Summer (weeklong) Workshops for Kids begin Monday, June 29 and run through Saturday, July 26, 2009. Kids take pictures with digital and other cool cameras, use photo-editing tools and create custom masterpieces. Each week brings different hands-on activities around the Museum, in the darkroom and in the computer lab. Registration is required.

2009 Pioneer Days week-long Summer Camp for 3rd-6th Graders is offered in five one-week sessions at the Stone-Tolan House Museum. Dates include: July 13-17, 20-24, 27-31 and Aug. 3-7, 10-14. Activities include traditional crafts, outdoor games, special tours and other pioneer pastimes. Ask about Full Moon Flashlight Tours (w/S'mores!) for families, July 14 and Aug. 18.
Enjoy a Summer of Furry Friends and Farewell Parades daily from July 6 through August 28. Meet a Berenstain Bear or other favorite furry friend daily, and join the farewell musical parade at the close of each day. Included with general museum admission fees.
Genesee Country Nature Center (at Genesee Country Village & Museum) plays host to Earth Camp, a summer camp of fun for kids in Preschool through 7th Grade. Other special programs include Summer Meteor Camp-Out, Creatures of the Night and Mission: Wolf. Hiking trails are open Tuesday through Sunday until October 18.
