The Gow School offers a traditional Summer School Program experience for boys and girls ages 8-16. The 5-week session offers a specially designed curriculum for students who have experienced academic difficulties. Summer Program participants enjoy a full schedule that includes morning classes, afternoon and evening recreational activities, and weekend excursions.

Camp Smile is a New York certified summer day camp for children who are blind or visually challenged. The ultimate goal is to encourage each child to be independent, to experiment, to feel and sense things that for many of them occur for the first time at this camp. The camp enjoys a 1 to 1 ratio of volunteer counselors to campers.
