Since 1971, Child Care Council has served Monroe, Wayne and Livingston County as the local, comprehensive, quality assured, early care and learning support organization.

The Council’s services include but are not limited to -

Programs that improve the education and care of young children who are receiving their early education in child care centers and family child care homes. Economic development to establish small and large child care businesses and expanded employment opportunities in the community Education designed as preparation for entry into the field of child care and to maintain and/or enhance skills. Parental support s that will increase understanding of and access to the child care system that best meets their needs. Enhanced referral services specifically designed to meet the needs of employers who wish to offer a special benefit for employees. Scholarship funds to partially or fully defray the cost of educational programs for child care workers
