Allendale Columbia School

Allendale Columbia offers a strong, intellectually stimulating coed liberal arts and sciences program for students in Nursery through Grade 12. Our college prep curriculum allows teachers to challenge students to reach their potential and to gain a sense of responsibility to themselves, the school community, their families, and society in general. We foster scholastic and personal independence through which students can grow confidence and trust. This trust enables students and teachers to engage with each other, take risks, and become well-rounded, global citizens.

Allendale Columbia is situated on a 33-acre campus, which includes a nature trail and an organic garden—that means a lot of learning happens outside the classroom, giving students a more interactive, hands-on approach to learning. Our overall student-to-faculty ratio is 6:1 so all our students get the attention, encouragement, and individualized learning approach they need and deserve. Allendale Columbia School graduates attend a wide variety of colleges and universities and our class of 2011 was offered more than $2.9 million in merit-based college scholarships.
