Go for the Cold…10 Great Sledding Areas!
Finally the snow is here! Plus, parents are looking for ways to get their children outside to enjoy the fresh air. Sledding is a fun way to get exercise during the winter months, and it's an activity that the entire family can enjoy together. Rochester has a lot to offer when it comes to sledding slopes, and here are ten great places to go for a sledding adventure. Remember, it's important to only sled in designated areas for safety reasons.
Black Creek Park, 3835 Union Street, Chili: The hill here is huge. Young children or children without much sledding experience may find it difficult to stay on their sleds due to the steepness of the hill. This park also has several cross country skiing trails.
